Dr Juan Marcano was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He completed his dental education at Santa Maria University. Dr. Marcano’s desire to further his education and experience did not stop here. He had bigger aspirations and professional growth to achieve. Upon coming to the United States, he attended both the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Michigan. He completed his profession’s requirements and added two additional years in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He further continued his education with a General Practice Residency at Metrohealth Hospital in Cleveland.
His natural gravitation to leadership along with his exceptional skills and knowledge led him to be appointed the Chief Resident. Dr Marcano had hands-on training and mentorships with some of the most well-renowned Oral Surgeons in the nation and through this, he developed and acquired a well-rounded expertise and robust surgical knowledge and skillset. When he is not practicing his passion for Dentistry, he loves expending time with his beautiful wife and lovely daughters. His favorite hobby and pastime time include his passion for music and playing his guitar.
As a member of our community, Dr. Rieger is committed to improving smiles all throughout South Florida. Dr. Rieger's patients benefit from his years of diverse and extensive dental training, as well as his personable, one-on-one approach. Dr. Rieger has ample experience in all phases of dentistry, specifically cosmetic, general, and family dentistry. He utilizes only the most advanced, high-quality technology and techniques. Dr. Rieger's goal is to ensure his patients get the best possible dental care in the most comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.
Dr. Rieger was born in Long Island, New York. He is a second generation dentist who received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York in 1985. In 1993, Dr. Rieger relocated to Florida to enjoy a more active and bright lifestyle all year-round in the sunshine state. In his free time, Dr. Rieger enjoys traveling, sports, being outdoors, exercising, and spending time with his family.

As a third-generation dentist, creating a beautiful, healthy smile is part of Dr. Forrest’s DNA. Dr. Forrest has repeatedly distinguished himself as an industry leader in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Throughout his 20 years of experience, Dr. Forrest discovered that the ultimate patient experience necessitates a “team approach” to dental care. This means utilizing a team of varying dental specialists instead of just one to provide care for each patient regardless of their needs.
Dr. Forrest completed his clinical research at the University of Miami on the interdisciplinary management of cancer treatment, irradiation therapy, and implantology. This earned him the prestigious Straumann ITI Implant Dentistry Scholarship Award. While attending Dental School, Dr. Forrest completed two Periodontics externships at New York University and Harvard University.
Dr. Forrest completed his three-year specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital, earning his Master’s Degree focusing on Oral Immunology. Additionally, he is a faculty reviewer for the Periodontics Chapter in the McGraw Hill Clinical Dentistry textbook. He retains a teaching appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Florida.
To date, Dr. Forrest has placed more than 20,000 dental implants while serving as the Clinical Director of Park Plaza DENTAL, an elite multi-specialist dental center based in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Forrest had the honor to spend five years on the Clear Choice Dental Implant Team. He lectures nationwide to practitioners on his methodology, teaching others how to attain the highest possible results in implant dentistry.
He maintains a reputation for achieving excellent results by consistently following the basic principles of proper treatment planning and team synergy. With a passion for dentistry and an artistic flair for creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Forrest serves patients from the South Florida community and nationwide. He continues to treat many of the most complex and challenging cases. His goal is to transform lives by restoring hope, health, and smiles. One patient at a time.
Valerie was born in California, but considers Fort Lauderdale her home! She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors degree, then pursued her passion in dental hygiene at Sandford Brown. She is already making a positive impact with our patients by improving their oral health while maintaining a comfortable environment. Her professionalism and passion for patient care exemplify what 1500 Dental is all about. When Valerie is not working, she enjoys exploring Florida’s National Parks with her dog, spending quality time with her family, and has developed a passion for running in response to her healthy love to all thing’s food. To date, she’s completed three half marathons
Natasha was born and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida. She grew up working at her family's restaurant, the Cypress Nook. She received her dental hygiene degree from Sandford College. From an early age, Natasha has always been passionate about learning about dental healthcare. Natasha enjoys educating patients on oral and systemic health and working as a team player. “Healthy mouth, healthy body!” She will be your dental coach and we are lucky to have her on the Park Plaza Dental Team. Outside of work, Natasha enjoys spending time with her family, boating with friends, and traveling. Although, if you ask her friends, they would say her favorite hobby would be flossing in her spare time 🙂
